Outbound Allocationbase XML Does Not Contain Rate Record Remark Data After 20A Cloud Quarterly Update (Doc ID 2650973.1)

Last updated on MARCH 31, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud Service - Version 20.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
After the application of the OTM Cloud 20A quarterly patch update, outbound AllocationBase XML transmissions from OTM no longer contain rate record remark elements contained in the following xpath as defined in the OTM schema: AllocationBase/Shipment/RATE_GEO/RATE_GEO_ROW/RATE_GEO_REMARKS .

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It is expected that AllocationBase XML transmissions to contain the same data prior to the 20A quarterly update. The RATE_GEO_REMARK elements should be contained in the XML as long as a valid Out XML profile includes this element, as well as, the rate record planned for the shipment contains a remark.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Send an AllocationBase transmission outbound from OTM to an external system
2. Review the raw XML of the transmission from: Business Process Automation -> Integration -> Transmission Manager -> Search for and select to view the respective outbound transmission.
3. There will be no RATE_GEO_REMARK elements in the XML .
