Symptoms

Summary of issue:

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Customer needs to enable the "Sum member asset depreciation to group" when adding group assets.

ISSUE 1:
When adding assets from UI, the flag always appears unavailable (greyed out) in the Add Asset page.
The flag appears greyed out even in the Edit Source Line page for existing asset source lines.

ISSUE 2:
The ADFdi spreadsheet allows the user to update the "Sum member asset depreciation to group" flag and it correctly fills in this flag in the backend table, however in the following scenario the flag is displayed as unchecked even though it is checked in the backend table:

Scenario: When adding a Group assets through ADFdi spreadsheet with the following fields:
- Recognize Gain or Loss = NULL
- Terminal Gain or Loss = NULL
- Tracking Method = Calculate member asset amount
- Depreciate by = Member method
- Sum member asset amount to group asset = Yes
---> The flag "Sum member asset depreciation to group" appears as UNCHECKED in the front end
---> The field MEMBER_ROLLUP_FLAG appears as CHECKED in the backend table FA_MASS_ADDITIONS. -> Display Issue. Backend data is fine.

Both issues are Display related.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The purpose of the "Sum member asset depreciation to group" flag from asset level is to make the system sum up the Member Asset Depreciation to the Group Asset. . This makes sure that the group asset depreciation is always equal to the sum of the member asset depreciation. This is irrespective of whether the depreciation rules used are of the member or the Group asset.

This flag should be available for checking or unchecking as long as the Allow Group Assets and Allow member tracking are checked at Book Level.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
ISSUE 1:
1. go to Assets -> Add Assets task -> fill in mandatory information and select Asset Type = Group
2. go to Group Assets tab
3. the "Sum member asset depreciation to group" appears unchecked.

ISSUE 2:
1. go to Add Assets in Spreadsheet task
2. fill in the following parameters
- Asset Type = Group
- Recognize Gain or Loss = NULL
- Terminal Gain or Loss = NULL
- Tracking Method = Calculate member asset amount
- Depreciate by = Member method
- Sum member asset amount to group asset = Yes
3. Save data
4. go to Assets -> Addition Infotile -> find the asset line you just added and access it
5. this takes you to Edit Source Lines
6. the "Sum member asset depreciation to group" flag appears as UNCHECKED in the front end, even though it it checked in backend.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot add group assets with the option of summing up the Member Asset Depreciation to the Group Asset.
