 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is the operation dependency feature (Start to Start - Start to Finish ...) and machine capacity distribution available in oracle manufacturing cloud?
What are the key differences of features in Process Manufacturing as compared to Discrete Manufacturing?
Is Project Manufacturing available through Oracle Manufacturing?
Is it feasible to accurately track Batch Quantity at each work order operation level?
Are batch resources supported in manufacturing cloud i.e. where resources are modeled by their capacity e.g. Product A volume is 10 cubic meters when in a process for 2 hours, while product B volume is 8 cubic meters when in the same process for 3 hours while process capacity volume is 20 cubic meters?
Does manufacturing support tooling / production resources?
Is it feasible to share resources across work centers? If so, is there a way to specify a percentage shared for each work center?
Is it possible to copy resources?
Is there a feature to limit the capacity of manufacturing?
While completing the last operations of work order using the 'Review Dispatch List' only the Product and Inventory train stops are appearing while the Backflush materials and Autotransact resources train stop does not show up. Is there a setup governing the display of these train stops?
Is it Possible to Import Resources, Work Areas and Work Centers using FBDI/ADFDI?
Is there and option to upload the work center, work areas, and production resources using excel upload?
Why is the option 'Organization is a manufacturing plant' greyed out/locked for update in 'Manage Inventory Organization' parameter setup?
Can the 'Work Order Starting Number' field in 'Manage Plant Parameters' be modified?
Can user defined work order status be partioned by organization or between manufacturing and maintenance organization?
Is it feasible search in Review Dispatch list based on user-defined work order statuses?
Why does 'Save and Create Another' create a resource in organization different from one to which the org context was changed?
Why do we have discrepancy in Start and Completion Date in WO Standard Operation when resource is added after WO creation?
Why the completion date is not moved back to the end of the working shift when we have operations with zero duration?
While performing Process Manufacturing output transaction, Why System was not allowing to enter the Finished Good Lot Dff values?
Why system allocates extra raw material whenever WIP Completion return happens against a work order?
System again generate Movement request and Pick Slip.
Why Quick Complete button is not appearing in Review Dispatch List Page?
When trying to create a work order after adding the operation and click the save button, the error java.lang.NullPointerException pops up and the work order cannot be created, why?
For some orders when accessing Print Work Order Traveler in the work execution -->Manage work orders ess jobs end with below error.
Error JBO-25089: Too many matching records found. Specify additional criteria to limit the number of records, please explain why?
Customer has WO's in released and unreleased status but some of them are not showing in Material Availability Assignment(MAA) screen, why?
Work order is created in UI, then work order description is updated with REST.
When user is logged in Spanish, work order description is blank. It is only seen when logged in English, why?
Why all inventory organisation is visible in the parameter of the ESS Job - 'Process Item Structure Changes to Work Definitions'?
 Troubleshooting
 Tips for troubleshooting manufacturing setups
 Common Issues
Work order error - The Value of the attribute Completion Subinventory is not valid
Quantity of Output Item on Work Order is not equal to the Quantity Defined in Process Work Definition
Cannot edit operation resource after work order creation with error - "java.lang.NullPointerException”
User-Defined Work Order Status Reverts Back to System-Defined 'Released' Status After Pick Release
Review Item Supply and Demand UI Does Not Display Work Orders in a User-Defined Status
 Cannot setup perform manufacturing setups
Error ("Source is not valid") while raising Production Exception
Defaulting Quantity and Transaction Mode in Plant Parameters Does not Impact Defaulting in Dispatch List
The Resource Calendar icon is not visible in the work center
Resources defined in a work center within the work area is visible across another work area.
Unable to Get Person and Asset Number in Labor/Equipment Type Resource Instance
Cannot Find an Employees Loaded Through FBDI While Adding a Resource To Resource Instance
