Symptoms

A Draft order is imported into system from an external order capture application, an error is reported when users submit the order:

NOTE: The Item is tax exempt.

JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.apps.scm.pricing.priceExecution.algorithms.publicQuery.exception.SetQueryException, msg=An error occurred while sorting two incomparable values. java.lang.Integer cannot be cast to java.lang.Long

Additional errors are reported in the SOA Trace which can be accessed by support engineers:
