ODI Mapping for BICC Incorrectly uses Datastore Name Instead of Resource Name (Doc ID 2660194.1)

Last updated on MARCH 18, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator on Marketplace - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When extracting data from Oracle Fusion using the BI Cloud Connector (BICC) Adapter in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), the mapping fails with errors.

In the BICC console, the issue is reported as:

ERROR:Invalid Data Store: <DATASTORE_NAME>

In ODI logs, the error is reported as

ODI-1590: The execution of the script failed.
Extract job <JOB_NUMBER> failed.
Caused By: org.apache.bsf.BSFException: exception from Groovy: Extract job <JOB_NUMBER> failed.
  at org.codehaus.groovy.bsf.GroovyEngine.exec(
  at com.sunopsis.dwg.codeinterpretor.SnpScriptingInterpretor.execInBSFEngine(
  at com.sunopsis.dwg.codeinterpretor.SnpScriptingInterpretor.exec(

This worked in a previous version of ODI on Marketplace.

Changes that can trigger this behavior are upgrading to ODI, or applying a patch that contains a fix for Bug 30424249.
