Symptoms
Unable to create the rule with auto_sequence
ERROR

A syntax error was reported at line 1 of field name Return Value, correct the error before continuing (EGO-2745513)
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance -> Manage Item Rule
2. Create the rule with Auto_sequence
3. Click on validate
BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot generate item numbers.
