Last updated on MAY 18, 2020

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Q1)What are the general features of Generate shipment request?

Q2) The "Resend" flag is available in the page 'Create Outbound Shipment Request'. Is there any plan in future to enter it as new parameter as well of the job "Generate Shipment Request" ?

Q3) When the "Resend" flag is used the shipment lines (WSH_DELIVERY_DETAILS) are updated with the new shipment request number (BATCH_ID), and all the lines are exported again (the old and the new lines). In an  example the new batch_id that was set on the lines is XXXXX (the previous batch_id for the previous exported line was XXXXX and it has been overwritten). The table WSH_PICKING_BATCHES the old batch_id XXXXX and the new batch_id YYYYY are tracked as 2 records. So how can we know which shipment lines were included into the previous batch_id XXXXX if there isn't any reference with the shipment line?
