Unable to print checks for quick payment

Business user is creating a quick payment with check payment method.The user has not provided the printer name at the time of submitting the quick payment.
The payment has been created but then when user is trying to print the check by running the program Create Printed Payment Files process the payment is not printed to the specified printer.

The question is: if the printer name is not given at the time of submitting the quick check payment from Create Payment functionality,how the user can print the check later on.
