Using an ATPC/ADWC Data Server with ODI 12.2.1.3.0 J2EE Agent throws "java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: SSO KeyStore not available" (Doc ID 2664314.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to test an Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) or Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud (ADWC) data server connection configured for SSL using an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3 (or older) J2EE agent, the following error occurs:

ODI-1592: Error occurred testing connection to dataserver with agent OracleDIAgent
Caused By: oracle.odi.core.exception.OdiRuntimeException: java.sql.SQLException: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Caused by: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Caused by: oracle.net.ns.NetException: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Caused by: oracle.net.ns.NetException: Unable to initialize ssl context.
Caused by: oracle.net.ns.NetException: Unable to initialize the key store.
Caused by: java.security.KeyStoreException: SSO not found
Caused by: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: SSO KeyStore not available
