Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Absence Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.20.01.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Compensatory Off Plan balance is getting deducted inaccurately due to the Duration Fast Formula

Compensatory Off absence type should not be part of the employee time-sheet.
Hence defined a compensatory off absence type with UOM as Days and Compensatory Off Absence plan with UOM as Hours.
And used GLOBAL ABSENCE TYPE DURATION formula to calculate the duration.

But, when recording the absence, the balance getting deducted inaccurately.
If the leave duration is 5 days then 25 is getting deducted from plan.
If the leave duration is 4 then 16 is getting deducted from the plan i.e square(duration x duration) of absence duration is getting deducted from plan.
