Symptoms
Updating or deleting a Widget is leading to a theme compile, which can result in a stuck publishing Job -or- the Admin instance hangs and users are unable to bring up the Admin console.
Changes
When a widget is deleted, created, updated, or migrated (example: via DCU), the application will combine the LESS for the Theme + Layout + Widget. An attempt is then made to compile the merged file. If the widget has multiple instances, each LESS, from each instance represents a a unique file. As such multiple instances can lead to a very large file to compile
