Linux: How To Use Command parted To Expand a Partion? (Doc ID 2673809.1)

Goal

How to use the parted tool command to expand/extend an already existing partition, by moving the end border limit.

The partition can, or not, have a filesystem created and in use(mounted).

This operation is possible when free space(not allocated) is available right after the partition. This can occur when in a cloud or virtual environment the disk size is increased and the last(at the end of the this) need to be expanded to take the newly added space.
