Cannot Update Work Definition on Planned Order Using Edit in Spreadsheet (Doc ID 2676414.1)

Symptoms

Cannot Update Work Definition on Planned Order Via Spreadsheet .

The business case is to update the Work Definitions for many planned orders at once.
After opening the plan in Supplies and Demands, Edit in Spreadsheet is chosen in the Actions drop down.
Once the data is exported to the spreadsheet, changes are made to the Work Definition for the planned orders.
After clicking the 'Upload' button the following error is received:

NOTE: Users are able to make this change manually in the UI.


ERROR
The value entered for attribute Item Structure Name Work Definition is invalid
(MSC-2805306)


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Query the planned orders in Supplies and Demands table.
2. Export the Planned orders using Actions -> Edit In Spreadsheet.
3. Edit the records in the spreadsheet by changing the Work Definition to the "Default" Work Definition name.
4. Click the 'Upload' icon in the tool bar.
5. Hit the error.
