Is There A Purge Option On The Audit Table Data? (Doc ID 2683447.1)

Would like to know if there is any option to Purge the data from the Audit table.

We have enabled the Audits on many objects like Contacts, Accounts, SourceSystemRef, Custom Objects etc using the Manage Audit Policies task currently.
So is there any option to Purge the data from the Audit Tables (_ tables) ?
