Goal

Payroll Costing may be loaded using HDL (HCM Data Loader) at different levels of the application. This note will list some of those levels with sample .dat files, screen shots and analysis sample sql to assist in loading using HDL.

Levels of payroll costing: (SourceType) are from the Common Lookup Type =ORA_PAY_COST_SOURCE_TYPE

Lookup Code	Meaning	Description
ASG	Assignment	Option used to create the cost account for payroll assignment.
BA	Balance adjustment	Option used to create the cost account in balance adjustment process.
ORG	Department	Option used to create the cost account for department.
EL	Element eligibility	Option used to create the cost account for element eligibility.
EE	Element entry	Option used to create the cost account for element entry.
JOB	Job	Option used to create the cost account for job.
PM	Payment method	Option used to create the cost account for payment method.
PAY	Payroll	Option used to create the cost account for payroll.
AET	Payroll assignment element	Option used to create the cost account for payroll assignment element.
PREL	Payroll relationship	Option used to create the cost account for payroll relationship.
PRET	Payroll relationship element	Option used to create the cost account for payroll relationship element.
TERM	Payroll terms	Option used to create the cost account for payroll terms.
TET	Payroll terms element	Option used to create the cost account for payroll terms element.
POS	Position	Option used to create the cost account for position.
