Goal
Average the cost for Purchase price change while receiving standard cost item.
There is a scenario where purchase price changes and while receiving, still receiving at Purchase Order price as a part of Transfer Order.
Example:
Purchase Order 1 - priced at $2.5 on 6/10 (Supplier: ABC, Item: A123), Delivery Date: 6/15
Purchase Order 2 - priced at $5.0 on 6/12 (Supplier: ABC, Item: A123), Delivery Date: 6/18
Both Purchase Orders are approved.
Since price changed from the same Supplier and Item, while receiving Purchase Order 1 will the cost be averaged between $2.50 and $5.00 ?
What is process for cost to be averaged?
