ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When someone creates a check-in document two notifications are being received by the targeted recipient (manager or employee).

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
We should not receive the duplicate notification.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a check in document.
2. After the document is created then the duplicate notifications are received.
