Oracle Analytics DV Connection to Hive Datasource Fails with "GSS initiate failed'" Error (Doc ID 2704090.1)

Symptoms

When trying to create a Hive connection from OAC towards kerberized Big Data Service using a principal and its own keytab created on Big Data Service, error received.

ERROR

Failed to save the connection.

Cause: java.io.IOException: execute query failed[nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS.

[nQSError: 16028] ODBC error state: 08001 code: 0 message: [Oracle DataDirect][ODBC Apache Hive Wire Protocol driver]Client unable to establish connection.GSS initiate failed. Action: Invalid Host or Port details specified
