Goal
Why is it possible to receive more qty per lot per line on a receipt when the it is configured not to allow any over receipt?
Example:
SKUA LOT1 Quantity 1000
SKUA LOT2 Quantity 2000
SKUA LOT3 Quantity 3000
The ASN has 3 lines of SKUA with different lots on each line and a total quantity of 6000 for SKUA.
During receiving, WMS allows the user to over receive the detail SKU lines but not the total of the SKU. For example, the user can receive 3000 units of SKUA LOT1 even though the shipped quantity of SKUA LOT1 is only 1000. But the user cannot receive more than 6000 units of SKUA. WMS is validating the quantity received overall for the SKU and not the quantity received at the SKU and lot level.
