ODI 12.2.1.4 Load Plans Are Not Executing in Parallel (Doc ID 2706022.1)

Symptoms

When executing a load plan on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or on ODI on Marketplace, steps that are to be executed in parallel are instead executing serially. There are no errors reported in any logs.

To reproduce the error, follow these steps:

  1. Created a package with three steps on it:
    • ODIBeep
    • ODISleep (5mins)
    • ODIBeep
  2. Generate a scenario of the package
  3. Create a LP using the option to execute in parallel and added four times the same scenario.
  4. Execute the LP and notice that just one step is running at a time
