ECommerce Interactions Counted Incorrectly in JET Config (Doc ID 2707413.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 24, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud Service - Version 19 C and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When opening CPQ JET Configuration from Oracle Commerce Cloud, eCommerce interactions are not counted correctly. When CPQ Configuration is opened from OCC, the entire process of configuring a product in CPQ is expected to count as 1 eCommerce interaction, regardless of how many values are set in configuration. However, with JET Configuration, eCommerce interactions are counted each time the page updates, and sometimes multiple are counted for a single page update. This can happen when an attribute is updated or a rule triggered.

Changes

 JET Configuration UI was enabled.
