Process "Reassign Performance Documents with Terminated Managers" is not assigning document to new manager (Doc ID 2710541.1)

When a line manager changed to another line manager and then run the process "Reassign Performance Documents with Terminated Managers", it is not working as expected. Tried with option to update or correct the line manager, however, this process does not assign the new manager to the document.

As per the definition of this process - "You can now run a scheduled process to reassign an employee’s performance documents to their new line manager" - This is not working as expected.
