Symptoms

Vested accruals remain after correcting to enrollment start date of plan and removing vesting rule.

Our absence plans originally had an absence vesting fast formula. It was not working correctly so we made some changes to it, and did not see the result of those changes in the system. The accruals remained on the employees record after withdrawing and rerunning the accrual calculation process for the employee. To confirm that it is not being caused by the fast formula, we removed all fast formulas from the plan (in correction mode so there is no vesting rule for any effective date) to make sure we were only using seeded functionality. Even with NO vesting rule configured on the plan, and withdrawing and rerunning the accruals, we still see vested accruals following the original vesting rule.

We removed the configuration that would cause this, however, the vested accruals are stuck in the system on the employee's record, disconnected from the plan, and need to be cleared out/reset.
