Fusion Benefits : 20C Rates For Medical , Dental and Vision are Incorrect (Doc ID 2716275.1)

Symptoms



This issue only impacts if the Rate Calculation Frequency setup on benefits program is "Estimated per pay period" and person payroll is "Bi-Weekly".  This year if you have adjusted the "payroll run date/date paid" for last pay period in Dec 2020 from 1/1/2021 to 31/12/2020 (Due to 01/01/2020 being bank holiday). This change along with leap year caused number of pay periods to be 27 for year 2020. With this configuration some plan rates like Medical, Dental and Vision are calculated based on 25 pay periods instead of 26, when there are 27 pay periods in the current year. Impact of it is Per pay period deductions for these rates will be higher
