Error While Creating An Item From Existing Template (Doc ID 2718362.1)

While trying to create an Item from custom class with a custom template derived from a standard template we get an error:
Structure Item type must be set to "standard" when internal order is set as "yes" .

 "internal order" and "internal order enabled" both are marked as "no" and  structure item type as "model" in the Template.

Cause:

Item status was selected as "Active" , which was overriding the values of the item template and was making the value of the attributes "internal order" and "internal order enabled" as "Yes"
