Object Triggers Not Working On OOB 'Milestone' Object (Doc ID 2719055.1)

Goal

We have been trying to configure the notifications on Milestones based on WarnedFlag and ComplianceFlag.
We wrote the groovy script to handle the same on 'Before Update' Object trigger of 'Milestone' (child Object of Service Request), but it seems same is not getting triggered even when the Warnedflag is being updated to "Y" as expected.

We tried the sample code shared in Bookshelf (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/b2b-service/20b/faiec/configure-notifications.html#FAIEC3689120) as well, even same is also not working and notifications are not getting created. Please note similar logic is working on Service Request Object and notifications are getting created but not on Milestone Object.
