Symptoms
Input and Output Interfaces
Intermittent failure of Inventory Summary Export output interface file
with following error: "Unable to rename remote file: Resource busy".
Max Retries is set to 5.
When this fails, you need to manually resend.
ERROR
-----------------------
"Unable to rename remote file: Resource busy"
Log file shows:
Unable to rename remote file: Resource busy. Failed to rename /Outbound/out/INSHGN000001234.tmp
to /Outbound/out/INSHGN000001234 because the file is currently in progress.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1- Scheduled Job runs to extract desired data for the output interface to pick it up.
2- Output interface config sets up the target directory and runs. Max Retries = 5.
3- Output interface failed with error.
