Symptoms

When attempting to load Manual Cycle Count Records using Cycle Count Import FBDI Template, ESS Job Import Count Sequences log file showing error message

ERROR

Actual Error Message is JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.NullPointerException, msg=null: null

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
--------------------------
1.  Goto Applications
2. Supply Chain Execution->Inventory Management
3. Task List->Counts->Create Cycle Count
4.  Enable cycle count by item category
5. Include Subinventory In which items needs to be Counted
6. Select Manual counts allowed check Box
7. Include the Category (select Append Changes Check Box and Enable Synchronize item category association)
8. Save and Close
9. Download Cycle Count Import FBDI template
10. Prepare Data to load Count Quantity. Generate CSV File
11. Tools->Schedule Processes
12. Submit new Process-> Load Interface File for Import ( Import process: Import Count Sequences, Data File: Create a new file)
13. Submit
14. Run " Import Count Sequences" ESS Job with Organization Name and Cycle Count name as Parameters
15. ESS Job stuck in Running Status and then Retrying status

Import Count Interface Should complete successfully
