Unable to Delete Orders on a Shipment if the Shipment Reached the Destination Depot Stop

The customer has an issue where a specific chain of events leads to the
CAUGHT THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTION WHILE PROCESSING TRANSACTION:  Inconsistent object state! TShipment: stop count = 3 service time stop result count = 2 at sun.reflect.GeneratedConstructorAccessor994.newInstance(UnknownSource)
This Error will occur if the user or an XML attempts to delete orders from a shipment that has already reached the Depot.
