Oracle Fusion Recruiting Cloud: Country Selection not Accepted on Career Site (Doc ID 2728013.1)

Symptoms

Problem Description:

When a candidate is completing their job submission and enters in their home country (ex. Nigeria), their country selection is not accepted.

The country doesn't appear in the list of values (LOV) and when they enter it manually, their selection is erased (reverts to null) and the following message is seen:

The Country field is required.
