TCB: A Results File Encryption Error Causes TCB Job To Fail (Doc ID 2729165.1)

Symptoms

TCB jobs fail with an error in the post-process encryption step (intended to encrypt results file with the customer's public key)

encryption failed: public key not found

 

Support may find an error in the TCB logs.  (Below, "ABCD1234" represents the key ID of the key that TCB attempted to use for encrypting the job's results file):

ABCD1234 skipped: public key not found

 

NOTE: This KM document does not apply if the TCB job with the problem is not one that encrypts results files. (Not all customers use encryption for results files).

Changes

 The customer's Public key (used for encrypting TCB results file) was recently changed.   The problem started after this task was completed.
