Rate Basis Conditions Not Evaluated When Using External Rating Engine (Doc ID 2732194.1)

Symptoms

Rate Record is configured to use an External Rating Engine. Another Rate Condition is configured to be applied on the rates received from the ERE (For example: Shipment Total Number of Packages <= 2 Uses External Rating Engine , Apply Discount 50%). 

When OTM is evaluating this rate record during planning, it is observed that the Rate condition (Shipment Total Number of Packages <= 2 from the above example) is not being evaluated.
