SSO Test Fails With Error Identity Provider Is Not Trusted (Doc ID 2735738.1)

Symptoms

 If you are a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) customer, there are multiple sections in this document that need not be performed by you. Please log a Service Request in My Oracle Support for Oracle to do this for you.

  Customer get system error after click Start SSO in test sso page. Go back to security console page, click Refresh for Federation Logs section, you can see following error:

  FED-18005     The identity provider is not marked as trusted in the federations.
Identity provider is not trusted: <IDP's entity ID>

 

Steps to reproduce:

1.  Access fusion application

2.  Click Navigator -> Tools : Security Console -> Single Sign On -> Open IDP entry -> Diagnostics and Activation -> Test

3.  Click Start SSO

You will get a system error
