Deactivating OIC Integration Doesn't Offer Delete Event Subscription In Oracle ERP Cloud Application (Doc ID 2736462.1)

Last updated on MARCH 18, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Integration-OIC - Version 18.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Deactivating OIC integration doesn't offer Delete Event Subscription in Oracle ERP Cloud Application.

In the OIC instance there is an integration that subscribes to the ErpImportBulkDataEvent in ERP using the option "Receive Callback Message upon completion of FBDI bulk import job submitted via another integration".

When deactivating this OIC integration the dialog does not contain the option to Delete Event Subscription in ERP.

After deleting the OIC integration the Event Subscription in ERP still remains.

This option was previously offered for this type of event subscription and in all other cases where an OIC integration is configured to subscribe to a ERP event or a SaaS event this option is displayed.

See also OIC documentation - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/integration-cloud/integrations-user/activate-and-deactivate-integrations.html#GUID-8EC76A03-7382-4400-9CFC-AC75F81D6645 where it says:

"If the integration contains a business event subscription, a message is displayed asking if you want to delete the event subscription. If you select to delete the event subscription, the subscription is deleted in the target system. When the integration is reactivated, new subscriptions are created in the target system and the integration can receive events again. If you do not want to delete the event subscription, the events in this integration are resent if it is activated before the event expires in the target system."

How should the Event Subscription be deleted?
