Error 'Invalid email, unable to create user' When Creating a New User in Primavera Administration (Doc ID 2741877.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a new user in Primavera Administration, the following error occurs in the log file:

2021-01-04T17:37:14.518+0000 Creating/Assigning Application Access for Users: 1
2021-01-04T17:37:14.542+0000 Processing User(1/1): USER
2021-01-04T17:37:14.727+0000 Email contains non existing domain, Unable to create User: USER
2021-01-04T17:37:14.733+0000 Invalid Email, Unable to create User: USER
2021-01-04T17:37:14.746+0000 Unable to create user: USER
2021-01-04T17:37:14.751+0000 Processing User Failed: USER

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to Primavera Administration.
2. Enter the details to create a new user then click Save.
3. The new user does not get created.
4. Refer to the notification bell in the upper right hand corner and review the log.
