Action "CHANGE EQUIPMENT GROUP" on shipment throws an Error "java.lang.NullPointerException" (Doc ID 2743361.1)

Symptoms

Equipment's are created with multiple compartments. Each compartment is assigned with ERU.
Simple TL shipment is created for Equipment Group "EquipmentA". Business is required to change the equipment Group to "EquipmentB".

On changing the Equipment group on shipment, system throws an error

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Select the shipment
2. Action > Shipment Management > Change Shipment Details > Change Equipment Group
