Symptoms

An Oracle Management Cloud (OMC) Agent was installed for Application Performance Monitoring (APM) as described in this reference:

The APM Agent it is not available in the OMC console after installation is complete:



The $DESTINATION/apmagent/logs/<application server name> logs show the follwoing error:

*SEVERE* Failed to get container information character in hostname at index 16:*
