P6 Professional Cloud Version Update Compatibility (Doc ID 2755848.1)

Purpose

For P6 Cloud Service customers using the P6 Professional client installed via the MSI Installer, to reduce the requirement to update P6 Professional for every P6 EPPM Cloud update, the P6 Professional Client is compatible with later Cloud versions:

This provides customers the option to not update P6 Professional client computers for every cloud update. This is beneficial for customers who have a high number of P6 Pro end-users and/or an extensive IT process to update P6 Pro client computers.

Scope

Applies to customers using P6 Cloud using the P6 Professional client installed via the MSI Installer obtained from Support.

 

Does not apply to customers using P6 Professional installed via ClickOnce via downloading from Cloud portal Install P6 Professional link.
