CSV Import Failed Validation (Doc ID 2757496.1)

On : Unifier Any Version


When importing a CSV file into a Business Process (BP), the data is not passing validation and does not get imported into Unifier. However, the data needed to pass validation does exist in the line item rows.


The data should import.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier
  2. Navigate to BP
  3. Click on Actions > Export CSV Template
  4. Open the downloaded CSV file and file in information for upper and detail rows
  5. Save the CSV file
  6. In Unifier, click Actions > Import
  7. Click on three dots, navigate and select the CSV file to import
  8. Click Next then Upload
  9. Receive import error email with message:  Failed:  Reason:  Validation [CUSTOM VALIDATION].
