Why Importing BOM Structure Using FBDI Could Not Import All The Line Items Correctly (Doc ID 2758239.1)

Goal

User is importing BOM structure using FBDI. There are multiple entries in the file as components change on the bill of material over time. As an example a component may be removed from the BOM and be reintroduced in a later revision.

Hence, there are multiple lines in the FBDI file which appears that the data is not representative of what was successfully imported.

This Note discusses how this can happen.
