Proessing a Business Process (BP) Record Results In An Unexpected Validation Error (Doc ID 2759366.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a Change Commit Type BP record for a project/shell and process it, the system throws a validation error even though the amount for that SOV line item has available funds to commit.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate to the Project/Shell where the issue has been observed > Upper BP > <Change Commit BP>  Create "CC-0001" > Record Details in right pane > scroll down > "Amount" = $XXX.XX.
  3. Attempt to Send the record to Workflow "<Review Step>" > The popup message is displayed as noted above. The amount in the Validation Error above happens to be double the amount that was entered in the Change Commit in Step 2.
  4. This Validation Error occurs no matter the amount that is entered in the BP record to be processed.
