FBDI Post Mass Transfers Doesn’t Check The End Date Of Segment Values In The Depreciation Expense Account (Doc ID 2768037.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Assets Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.01.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Post Mass Transfers don’t check the depreciation expense account segments end_date.
User can transfer assets to depreciation expense accounts using end-dated segment values.

Steps:
1. download the FBDI spreadsheet for Mass Transfers
2. fill in asset and distribution details on the spreadsheet
3. in the FA_TRANSFER_DISTS_T sheet, populate the Depreciation Expense Account field and fill in a disabled value for one of the segments.
4. generate the zip with csv files, then upload it into the system
5. run Post Mass Transfers
---> the process is successful. This is incorrect, considering that a disabled segment value has been used.
