Cross Charging with Burden Project Costs

The requirement is do define Cros-Charging, wherein there would be intercompany cost transactions i.e project belonging to one business unit and the cost is entered against another business unit and the business unit belong to different legal entities.

For the receiver project, the burden schedule is associated at the project level belonging to the project business unit. Now, as the cost is uploaded in provider business unit against the receiver project, the system is throwing an error saying that the burden costs cannot be calculated. For burdening, is used the option of creating separate expenditure line items.
How can the user achieve the requirement of having both cross charge and burdening together?

Qn2:For the solution to work, is necessary to create a separate organzation tree structure? And if yes, then what levels are required to be included in the organization tree structure?

Qn3:Would the tree be visible in burden schedule setup, only when it is associated in the setup configure project accounting business function ?

Now, the user is looking for a solution/workaround to be able to maintain a common burden schedule for both the business units.

The user has tried the option of adding the organizations from both business units in the org tree, however the hierarchy start organization in the burden schedule setup will have values pertaining to organizations, which would restrict and will not allow multipliers to be maintained at the BU level.

Second option tried, was to have the both the BU's in the tree, however again here the the hierarchy start organization in the burden schedule setup will show the BU values, which will restrict the burden multiplier to be maintained at the specific BU only.

Qn4:The user created a separate org tree for burden, which is having the two business units.

All the setups for burdening are completed. The burden schedule has the multipliers being maintained at the BU level. Now at the time of cost upload, we are getting the message - Burden cost can't be calculated because burden multipliers don't exist for the organization or cost codes.

Qn5: Is any way by which the child nodes can be added in bulk to the organization tree?
