Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting - Version 11.13.21.01.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : 11.13.21.01.0 version, Payment Processing in AP

Users are unable to create Payments that are to be part of ROU asset, but having a payment date at end of Lease period.
The lease has one-time restoration cost component which is to be paid at the end of the lease period (in this case, the lease start date is 1-Jan-2020 and lease end date is 31-Dec-2021).

This cost will be part of ROU asset as per IFRS16.
However, while capturing this cost, getting the below error message, if we try to enter the start date as 31-Dec-2021.
" You must ensure that the payment date is the same as the amortization start date for a one-time payment if only ROU option has been selected.(FUN-720650)"

However, if the payment start date is captured as 1-Jan-2020, the lease schedules and calculations go awry, since only the Present value of the restoration cost needs to be considered in the lease schedules.

If ROU checkbox is checked, then while entering Payments, unable to enter payment date as 31-Dec-2021 since getting the below error message:
" You must enter the first payment date in the first payment period. (FUN-720657)"

How to capture the restoration costs in this situation?
