Tax Jurisdiction Based Tax Rate Not Applying Even Though Jurisdiction Is Correctly Derived Based On Place Of Supply (Doc ID 2782281.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 28, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Tax Cloud Service - Version 11.13.20.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a Payables Invoice is created  - the tax gets applied, but the tax rate that gets applied is the default tax rate, and not the Tax Rate linked to the Jurisdiction.

E.g. for STATE tax, the Jurisdiction is derived as US-TX, but the Tax Rate that gets applied is rate specified at Tax setup, which is not linked to any Jurisdiction.

Expectation it to have the Tax Rate linked to Tax Jurisdiction selected - get applied.
