This document describes how to change the uid and gid for the opc user.

Note, before you attempt this, please take note of

a working login user id exists which can login and become root either via su or sudo, other than the opc user and root. So in case there is an issue with action plan there is still an option to login.
do not attempt if other processes require this opc user to run.
