Bell Icon Is Not Showing The Correct Number Of Notifications (Doc ID 2786963.1)

Symptoms


Bell icon is not showing the correct number of notifications.
Enabled activity notifications in Setup and Maintenance > Manage Activity Profile Options.

But the number of notification in the Bell icon is not showing correctly.

You must click on it or log-out then re-login to see the correct number.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Bell icon should show the number of notifications, or whenever there is a new notification the red color count should appear with active/unattended notification number.



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Steps to replicate:
1. Open any Opportunity record
2. Click on Activity subtab > Teams
3. Add any user to the team
4. The user should be able to receive email notification because you added him/her in activity team and the Bell icon should show the number of new notifications
