Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In the mapping setup between Primary and Secondary Ledgers, a different Default Conversion Rate Type is defined than the one used by Primary Ledger. The system is using this exchange rate type for all journals flowing to this secondary ledger from other subledgers, however for Fixed Assets the system is still picking the Primary Ledger's exchange rate. Secondary Ledger gets its accounting from the Tax Book. Once the asset is copied to tax book it is not picking the secondary ledger's exchange rate, but the daily rates used by the Corp Book and the .

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The system should use the Default Conversion Rate Type for Secondary Ledger for tax assets which were originally created in the Corporate Book based on invoices from Payables, which got copied to a Tax Book tied to Secondary Ledger with different currency and different conversion rate type than Primary Ledger.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

THROUGH DIRECT ASSET ADDITION IN CORP BOOK:
1. setup Default Conversion Rate Type in Map Primary to Secondary Ledger
2. create asset in Corp Book. Primary Ledger uses USD currency, Secondary Ledger uses THB currency
3. run periodic mass copy to copy assets in tax book
4. check currency conversion on amounts from Secondary Ledger tied to Tax Book

THROUGH PAYABLES INVOICE:
1. setup Default Conversion Rate Type in Map Primary to Secondary Ledger page
2. create invoices in USD currency. Primary Ledger uses USD currency, Secondary Ledger uses THB currency
3. run create mass additions to import them to Fixed Assets. post assets in corp book.
4. run periodic mass copy to copy assets in tax book
5. check currency conversion on amounts from Secondary Ledger tied to Tax Book
