Symptoms

An older Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) on Marketplace (MP) instance was created some time ago with a version 12.2.1.4.210108 or lower, and the goal is to upgrade the ODI repository to a more recent version. Part of the process requires the Upgrade Assistant (UA) to be run. Running the UA fails with the following error:
