Purpose

This document provides guidance on how to submit Service Requests to perform data updates/corrections on Merchandising Suite Product environments.

Oracle Retail customers and system integration (SI) partners should leverage a supported mechanism (conversion, induction, batch, integration via RIB, REST service, SOAP service, online screens, and so on) to convert and handle data in the Merchandising Cloud Services. In some exception cases, a script may be required to create or alter data.

Scope

This article applies only to Retail Merchandising Suite of products and for production environments.

For Non-Production environments, data fix execution should be done by the Customer/ System Integration Partner via APEX and should not require an SR to be logged.
